Nickel200 (Ni200) and Nickel201 (Ni201) are versatile materials used in various industries such as electronics, aerospace, missile manufacturing, handling equipment, food processing, rechargeable batteries, and surgical equipment.

Nickel201, being a low carbon variant in comparison to Nickel200, exhibits low annealed hardness and a significantly low work-hardening rate, making it ideal for cold forming operations. It demonstrates excellent resistance to corrosion when exposed to neutral and alkaline salt solutions, fluorine, and chlorine. However, it is important to note that severe attack may occur in oxidizing salt solutions.

Pure nickel finds extensive applications in the following areas: food processing equipment, synthetic fiber processing equipment, electronic parts, aerospace and missile components, and handling of sodium hydroxide at temperatures exceeding 300ºC.
